Austria - South Tyrol - Camping Seiser Alm

The scenic Seiser Alm campsite is located in a popular ski area. South Tyrolean Seiser Alm is currently the largest pasture in Europe with an area of over 27 km2. The camp itself provides a phenomenal view of the beautiful mountain scenery. The Dolomites are a paradise for all outdoor enthusiasts, so if you are with your family like us bikers or tourists, you will be thrilled. It is a good base for mountain hikes with a more sporty family or walks around the area with smaller children.

About the camp

Seiser Alm is a very popular, well-organized and well-equipped campsite. The people at the reception are helpful, kind and attentive at all times. They will be happy to help you with a trip recommendation or any advice. The camp provides excellent services. There is an excellent restaurant and a small supermarket providing basic food. Guests have access to the Seiser Alm card, which provides access to integrated public transport. The village can be reached by bike, motorbike or just a free bus, which stops right at the campsite.

The individual camping sites are spacious, adapted to the type of vehicle or tent and the number of people. Stations for caravans and motor homes are sizes A - from 60 square meters, through larger B, C to the largest S-Superior, which have 200 square meters. All stations have access to electricity (16A, 220V, CEE plug), TV and WiFi, in the summer season also to clean and waste water. Some stations also have a gas connection.

Most places are well protected by greenery.

The tent meadow intended for tents is for the most part on a gentle slope, which must be taken into account and adapted to the orientation of the bed. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reserve a tent place.

All information about current prices, booking options and valid operating rules of the camp can be found on the website: https://www.camping-seiseralm.com/

Camp facilities:

The sanitary facilities are reminiscent of the hotel standard. Everything is in perfect condition and great emphasis is placed on cleanliness. There are showers, but also private bathrooms for a fee varying according to the season (5-7m2 with dryer and storage space for the price of 7-27EUR per day) and a special bathroom for families with children. The showers have sufficient capacity and a pleasant flow of hot water. There is also a dishwasher, laundry and other facilities. After a bike ride, you can even wash it in the bike dishwasher.

Activities for children:

Outdoor heated saltwater pool open from May to October. In addition to wonderful excursions, skiing, tobogganing, bobsledding, horse riding or horse-drawn carriage rides can be arranged for children in the area.
