Every month a new place on the map of Europe
Camp Grimmingsicht
Austria
The quiet place is a junction of hiking and cycling routes. Countless interesting trips in all directions lead from here. A short distance from the campsite is a nature reserve and a nice educational trail with more than 20 stops passes through it. We describe where we liked the most in this review.
Kamp Soča
Slovenia
After a year, my family and I returned to the land of crystal clear water, rivers and waterfalls, limestone rocks, blooming meadows, honey and bears, cable cars and some of the friendliest campsites. You must have already guessed that we are in Slovenia again. This time we went to the emerald river Sochi and chose from several interesting options the campsite of the same name, located on its bank. Over the ages, the Soča River has created impressive pools full of shapely fish in its rocky bed, and right outside the campsite gates, an extraordinary experience of discovering unique natural wealth begins.
Camping at Altaussee
Austria
Our campsite offers monumental views in all directions. In addition to the panorama of the snow-covered Dachstein, there are also smaller hills and several other mountains. In the middle of it all is a meadow and on it a couple of cute buildings, paneled with wood. The campsite is located at the signpost of hiking trails that lead to the discovery of the local natural wealth. The nearby town of Altaussee, located on the shore of the lake, can be reached by a forest path with a view of the mountain pasture.
Farm & Camping Lazy
Slovakia
We discovered Lazy on the recommendation of our friend Mir from Zvolen, who visited here with his family two years ago. He told about a family from Holland who settled years ago in picturesque Cerov in Slovakia near Zvolen and Banská Štiavnica. Two industrious people started a farm here then, every summer more people came with a tent or a caravan, until camping became prevalent. When Miro was last here, they were building an open kitchen so that people could cook in contact with the surrounding nature and also with their children on the playground.
Camp Sedmihorky
Czech Republic
The management of the camp and the workers present, with whom we spoke, radiated a rare sense of well-being and calmness. Maybe they have some mindfulness courses here or practice yoga together in the morning. I will ask the manager about it next time. Even in the cafe and pub, everyone was friendly and open, so we attribute the overall impression to the good team and management of the camp. Together they explored every bit of the campsite with papers and cameras in hand, making notes and asking each other questions. This survey was a pleasant surprise. For all the surprises, I choose: The historic mill building, which is actually a new building full of play elements for children with an epic cafe. A large sandy beach on the shore of the Bažantník pond with a beach volleyball court. A grassy area with sandstone monoliths reminiscent of the surrounding nature.

Germany
At the request of the children, we went to Legoland in Germany for two days together in mid-May and we really enjoyed it. The flat camp is full of greenery and is surrounded on all sides by a mature forest. The place is worth a visit not only because of the great family fun in Legoland, but also because of the interesting surroundings. Legoland Resort is located on the outskirts of the Bavarian town of Günzburg, which was founded 70 years before the Romans to defend the area around the Danube.
